I don’t really know where to begin…More than 50 women stood behind me to make The Female Disruptors Virtual Summit a success- we ended with more than 1500 registered attendees and still getting sign ups as a write this.
Some speakers who normally charge $20K waived their fees in order to help me reach as many women as possible through this event. Some of the speakers have been on Oprah and 60 minutes while some women it was their first time speaking and sharing their journey.
One week ago I had no idea how I was going to pull this off then angels came into my life. Abbey and Megan jumped in 8 days before the event and worked around the clock coordinating the speakers, tech and logistics. My first angel - going back to 2019 when I bought the domain FemaleDisruptors.com while on the phone with Navah - my biggest Female Disruptor cheerleader.
Drew and Maxi Kovan reached out to me 5 days before show time blindly from seeing the event on LinkedIn and become an integral support sponsoring some VIP tix and even helping moderate when I realized I was only one person.
Samantha helped me write the press release. David reached out to me in November and made it his mission to help promote and support Female Disruptors while coaching me along the way at no charge.
Mostly everyone volunteered, I had no real budget and invested all my profit from last year to launch the Female Disruptors Virtual Summit -
In 48 hours we delivered more than 40 sessions of live content with the over-all intent to empower women and help them level up and overcome the stats below.
We want the future female disruptors to have a better path, one that is without adversity, one that is equal, balanced, and fair without fear, discrimination, or harassment.
