Beth Fiedler is curious and determined, two qualities that helped her start her own businesses. A Toronto native, she runs an NLP training program. What is that, you ask? NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic-Programming. It’s a psychological approach grounded in science that aims to improve our lives by positively adjusting our experiences. You can think of it as a toolkit consisting of techniques and practices to improve communication, relationship management, mindfulness, change management, and more.
Here’s Beth’s story, and her thoughts on how she embodies what it truly means to be a #femaledisruptor.
An unstoppable Female Disruptor who always gives her best shot and stays hopeful regardless of what lies ahead.
Toronto, but my customers and participants can attend the online events from the comfort of their home or office or anywhere in the world.
I fell in love with experiential training and quit my executive job (Assistant Vice President with AIG Finance) to start a consulting business. The entrepreneurial spirit is in me whether it’s a full- or part-time gig. I organized and owned a public holiday event with a record of <15 hours of sleep for two weeks. I burned both ends of my candle learning how to day trade Futures (a financial instrument) and ended up designing a system for investors to learn how to develop trading discipline. I used my Amazon account to sell pest and pet products, which inspired me to create an online multi-seller marketplace (combined features of Amazon, eBay, and Kijiji).
How I got the enthusiasm and knowledge to see things through and why I keep trying? I have been enjoying the knowledge gained and learned a lot about myself in the process. I truly believe that I will bring something good to the world.
When I ran my first experiential training program and saw the glow on the learners, I knew that sharing and serving were a rewarding journey I wanted to embark upon.
By having respect and empathy for everyone around me.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

My mom came to my mind. My father passed away when I was six, and my mom became a single parent of four young children. I admired her strength and dedication to keep us safe and protected. She was my role model and my inspiration to be a giver. She was a very generous person and often shared our surplus clothing with strangers in the neighborhood.
Another woman I admire a lot is my older sister. She started working when she was under 10 to support the family. I’ve never seen her dropping a tear even though her work was labor-intensive. My sister is always there for me across space and distance.
I also admire the following ladies because they are all very motivational:
I’ve recently published an animated memoir, Mind Over Matter, completion of an NLP Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner certification, and organized an awesome, highly engaging virtual conference “Supercharge Your Personal Growth In 2020 & Beyond” which is now live.
What makes my conference different from other online events?
I look forward to sharing a kickass all-in-one online event platform with the world soon.
A true #femaledisruptor, Beth has learned to adapt in the face of adversity and is always eager to share her knowledge and expertise with others. If you want to support Beth and learn more about her work, you can buy her self-help book Mind Over Matter or sign up for an NLP training!
